Photographs: Little Dragon at Bowery Ballroom

Okay, so I can sometimes be a terrible webmaster. During Little Dragon’s hiatus (I call it hiatus, but of course they were like worker bees in a creative bubble) I failed to access my Gmail account and in doing so I was foolishly unaware that Lynn, an ever present contributor, had sent me some amazing photographs of Little Dragon from there Bowery Ballroom show in late October of 2013. So, now that I’ve finally caught sight of them so can you … chegg it!

It gets one eager for the new touring season, doesn’t it?

@LittleDragon New LittleDragon Remix of umo “Swim And Sleep Like A Shark” http://rol.st/VfhPKl @rollingstone http://instagr.am/p/URVDgOjq9c/” Click on the above cover to stream the new remix. Little Dragon previously (and brilliantly) remixed Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s “Little Blu House” in the summer of 2011. What are your thoughts on “Swim And Sleep (Like A Shark)”?

“UMO is what we in Sweden call ‘grymma.’ [Their tracks] have been spinning frequently at our studio,” Little Dragon singer Yukimi Nagano tells Rolling Stone. “[We] saw them live in Portland last year at MusicFest NW and their show is amazing.” Little Dragon originally imagined a different remix, and the clubby reworking was an accident. “[Bassist] Freddy [Källgren Wallin] was inspired to make a choir arrangement for the remix,” says Nagano, “but got stuck on the first verse and ended up making a house jam.”
