How to listen to “Little Man”, “Brush The Heat”, and “Crystalfilm”

As pointed out by visitor “gah” in the last post, one can listen to KCRW archives on www.kcrw.com/archive. When you visit that link you can come across Aaron Byrd’s latest show for “6/3/2011″. Here is the link to the actual audio show. Now, here’s the interesting bit and I think it’s only fair to quote Gah on this one: “Aaron Byrd played “Brush the Heat” @ 0:10:38, “CrystalFilm” @ 1:50:43, & “Little Man” @ 2:45:25.” So what are you waiting for? Go listen! I’ve given each one a listen and am a bit gob-smacked right now. This record is going to be incredible. What does everyone think?

  1. Thanks Daniel and Andrew for making that crystal clear, especially for those overseas!!! I cannot wait for this album!!!!

Crystal Film was amazing and my favorite right now–it’s definitely stuck to the walls of my unconscious mind.

It’s so interesting to hear the studio versions now, after listening to live recordings for the last 6 months. There a lot of things I wouldn’t have imagined–like I imagined Yukimi’s voice to be more aggressive in “Little Man”, like in “After the Rain,” just based off the performances–these songs surprised me but in no other way than pleasantly. gorgeous songs.

    “Little Dragon spitting flames”!!!!

  2. Someone should find or get Mp3’s for those songs. I would deffinately like to listen to “Crystal Film” repeatedly and on the go, as well as “Brush the Heat”.

  3. I can’t get “Crystalfilm” from my mind. This is infectious and brilliantly crafted stuff. I’m sure the .mp3 of each file will surface soon enough. It can only be a matter of time. Hopefully the band get around to preparing a pre-order area for the album soon.
